Ron Wilson's troubled story keeps getting worse.

The UF junior offensive lineman, who was just allowed back on the team this summer, has been charged with misdemeanor battery and assault charges, according to multiple media outlets.

Wilson reportedly struck two victims with a closed fist at Lexington Crossing apartments during the early morning hours of Oct. 5, just after the Gators had returned from their 38-7 win at Arkansas.

After he allegedly struck the first victim, Wilson followed a group outside and then struck a second victim, breaking her wrist.

Wilson was later identified in a photo lineup by three of the witnesses.

This is far from Wilson's first off-the-field issue. He was kicked off the team last season for charges of firing a firearm into the air outside of a nightclub. He was also later charged with possession of marijuana, but those charges were dropped soon thereafter.

Wilson had not dressed for the Kentucky or Georgia games, and when asked why UF coach Urban Meyer said Wilson "had some business to take care of" and that he did not meet expectations.

Wilson started at guard on UF's 2006 national championship team.

Epps out for the season: Junior transfer defensive tackle Troy Epps is done for the season after tearing his ACL. Epps had not dressed the past two games and injured his knee in practice the week of the Kentucky game.

"He'll come back with a senior year next year," defensive line coach Dan McCarney said. "He and (Brandon) Antwine had a good battle going, Antwine had the edge. This program is really important to him, and he's important to us."

Epps is the seventh player the Gators have lost to a season-ending ACL tear this season.
