UF announced Wednesday that Andy McCollough will be the Interim Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs beginning Monday.

He will take over for Daniel Wubah while a search committee seeks a permanent replacement.

UF announced Wubahís departure for Virginia Tech in December.

Wubah will remain on the UF payroll until the end of February.

In the meantime, he will bring McCollough up to speed on various issues and will also take advantage of accrued vacation time while planning his transition to VT, UF Provost Joe Glover wrote in an e-mail.

ìAndy was chosen because of his vast knowledge of, and experience with, undergraduate matters,î he wrote.

ìHe is also an accomplished administrator who knows how to get things done.î

McCollough will remain senior associate dean of the Warrington College of Business Administration, but he will not be paid extra for taking the interim position, Glover wrote.

McCollough said he will redistribute some of his responsibilities in the college in order to manage both positions.
