The Gainesville Area National Organization for Women will debut its third annual summer film series Monday, starting with "The Abortion Diaries" at 8 p.m.
The series will feature four films, with one a month until August.
All screenings will be held at the Civic Media Center, 433 S. Main St., and will begin with a greeting at 7:30 p.m. where refreshments will be provided. The films will start at 8 p.m.
"The Abortion Diaries," a documentary directed by Penny Lane, features 12 women's stories about their experiences with abortion.
"We'd love to have anyone come out who is interested in the organization or the subject of feminism," said Lisa Labbe, president of Gainesville Area National Organization for Women.
The National Organization for Women is a political organization supporting women's rights on issues like reproductive rights, affirmative action and rape awareness, according to its Web site.
