The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity house has completed construction on three flagpoles to honor the memory of a fallen brother.

Ehren Murburg died last year while training in North Carolina to become a Green Beret.

The memorial features the American flag in the center, the Florida state flag to the right and the fraternity's flag on the left.

A memorial plaque will be placed underneath the flagpoles Saturday at 11 a.m.

The event will also host the 125th SAE Anniversary Alumni Barbecue.

SAE will place plaques for fallen brothers from World War I and II, said Marcus Motes, vice president of SAE.

The fraternity is creating the Ehren Murburg Veterans Memorial Scholarship, which will provide $1,500 a semester to returning veterans attending UF.

Murburg attended UF for three semesters and left to follow his dream of becoming a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces, said Kyle Kelly, a member of the fraternity.
