Despite losing his first-round pick in the first week of the season, Volin was able to recover using a whole-team effort and win the first-annual alligator Sports Fantasy Challenge. Volin started the season 5-0 before suffering his first loss and only loss two other times the whole season. Volin’s team played so well in the final week that he had two starters on bye weeks and still came out on top. He had three players more than 20 points and two others with 19, negating the big week Kansas WR Dezmon Briscoe had for Rogan (36). For Volin’s hard work and dedication, he will be rewarded with a guest column in the Alligator.
