Enter Rent the Runway, a site that was created by two fashion savvy gals that asked themselves the very same questions. You can rent dresses from designers such as Badgley Mischka, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler, Rebecca Taylor and more. All of these dresses can be rented for your choice of four or eight days for 10 percent of the retail cost.
A friend of mine and I both wore Rent the Runway dresses to my cousin’s beautiful beach wedding two weeks ago. Elisabeth looked like a Greek goddess in Yigal Azrouël’s draped gold lamé dress and I looked “smokin’” in my Catherine Malandrino Smoking shoulder dress, if I do say so myself!
