Vanderbilt will enter Saturday’s game against Florida shorthanded.

Running back Warren Norman will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a dislocated right wrist he suffered Saturday in a loss against Arkansas.

“He dislocated his wrist and is going to have to have pins and screws and everything,” coach Robbie Caldwell said.

Norman led the Commodores in rushing with 459 yards and four touchdowns. The sophomore also returned kicks and averaged 25.4 yards per return.

To fill the hole left by Norman, the Commodores will turn to sophomore Zac Stacy, who has racked up 340 rushing yards this season.

Also, quarterback Larry Smith can help in the run game, as he has run for 351 yards in eight games.

“We have pretty good playmakers in the offense,” Stacy said. “I’m just going to do as well as I can to help the team be successful.”
