The 9/11 truthers at the Valerie Plame event should be ashamed of how they conducted themselves.
As a UF student, it was embarrassing to see constant questioning and badgering of Plame over 9/11. It made it seem as if students at UF were more concerned about conspiracy theories than asking Plame legitimate questions about issues of intelligence and non-proliferation.
What made it worse was that not just one but a total of three people asked Plame about the attacks. Why did the truthers think that she would change her answer after the first time when she said she did not think that 9/11 was a cover-up the first time she was asked?
Other people got out of line if someone ahead of them asked the same question they were going to ask, but not the truthers.
Furthermore, I was frustrated that I could not ask a legitimate question because they wasted so much time. The 9/11 conspiracy theorists are an embarrassment to UF, and I hope they do not conduct themselves this way next time Accent brings someone here.
