The Academy Awards was lame this year (winner's list included)

The 83rd annual Academy Awards came

and went, and boy was it a dud. James Franco and Anne Hathaway did

their best, at least I think Franco did his best, but the whole gig

fell through. I'm not the only one to feel this way as

and

blasted the ceremony as

one of the worst Oscar telecasts in history.

Your favorite picks might not have won, but

there are some things I would like to point out. Chris Nolan did

not actually receive any award for “Inception” while “True Grit,”

having 10 nominations in total, didn't receive any wins at all.

“The King's Speech” and “Inception” tied the evening with four wins

with “The Social Network” coming in third with three Oscars to take

home.

I hope the Academy learns from its mistakes

this time around, so that next year we can actually have an

entertaining show.
