There’s a new way for students to save money.
Ventown.com is a newly launched website that provides a social network to connect local businesses with current and prospective customers in the Gainesville area. The website offers several promotions and discounts.
Students and the Gainesville community are able to register with Ventown.com to voice their opinions about the types of businesses they’re interested in.
They can browse, engage and share information about the local businesses based on their personal criteria.
“I used to have to use a phonebook when I wanted access to information about businesses, but today’s technology-filled world is completely different,” said David Rose, the senior vice president of business development for the website. “Ventown.com allows people to have access to information easily and quickly, right at their fingertips.”
