Five people were arrested Wednesday by Gainesville Police officers and charged with the sale and possession of cocaine. Warrants are still out on four other suspects.

SWAT teams and law enforcement officials descended upon the Porter's Oaks neighborhood in Gainesville Wednesday to execute search warrants for three residences for narcotics.

It was a joint operation between the Gainesville Police Department and the Alachua County Sheriff's Office SWAT teams.

The warrants were issued based on information obtained during undercover investigations conducted by the Gainesville-Alachua County Drug Task Force, said Cpl. Angelina Valuri, the GPD public information officer.

The addresses served with warrants were: 627 SW Fifth St., 207 SW Sixth Ave. and 507 SW Sixth Place.

Five people were arrested for the sale and possession of cocaine: Troy Maddox, 31; James Eaddy, 42; John T. Clark, 51; Pamela F. White, 42; and LeDerrick D. Coffee, 22.

They were taken to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office where they were questioned by GPD detectives.

There are arrest warrants out for four other suspects as well.

These individuals are: Julius Rumph, 27, and Roderick McKnight, 21, for the sale and possession of cocaine; and Anthony Kincade, 51, and April Rosier, 36, for the sale and possession of cannabis.

Anyone with information on these suspects can call GPD at 352-955-1818, Valuri said.
