The most frequent crime on the UF campus for the week of Nov. 11-17 was larceny occurring at various buildings, according to the University Police Department's online crime log.

Here's a breakdown of the crimes.

Theft:

  • Six instances of larceny occurring at a building, all pending
  • One case of burglary, pending
  • One case of scooter theft, pending

 

Drug and alcohol violations:

  • Three narcotics violations, two resulting in physical arrests and one resulting in a notice to appear
  • Three instances of narcotic equipment possession, two also resulting in physical arrests and one resulting in a notice to appear
  • Two DUIs, both resulting in physical arrests
  • One liquor law violation, leading to a notice to appear

Miscellaneous:

  • Two instances of criminal mischief, both resulting in physical arrests
  • One instance of a prowler loitering, resulting in a physical arrest
  • One instance of resisting arrest without violence, leading to a physical arrest
  • One instance of trespassing after receiving a warning, ending in a physical arrest
  • One instance of causing a false alarm regarding fires, pending
