The UF Supervisor of Elections may be removed from office if a resolution proposed by five Student Government senators passes.

Five Students Party senators made the move to impeach Supervisor of Elections Toni Megna in an email sent out to senators Monday evening.

The resolution was not formally discussed at Tuesday night's Student Senate meeting.

Senators Carly Wilson and Gillian Leytham were two of the senators who wrote the resolution for impeachment.

Both appealed to the Election Commission and the UF Supreme Court to have the elections procedure investigated. The Court investigated the procedures but decided not to order a new election.

Megna could not be reached for comment at press time.
