I would like to thank the Alligator as well as the authors of "Obama is No Better Than Che Guevara" for providing one of the best "fake news" articles this side of the Onion. Their send-up of the intellectual inconsistency and naïveté of the extreme left was nothing short of sidesplitting. I mean, how could anyone read an article defending mass-murdering tyrant Muammar Gadhafi as a leftist hero and not indulge in a hearty chuckle?

One of the highlights of the article was calling the Libyan rebels fighting a bloodthirsty, fascist regime "bloodthirsty fascists." I laughed even harder when they implied that President Obama bore direct responsibility for everything the rebels had ever done.

I was nearly in tears when they blamed Obama for civilian casualties in Sirte, Libya, sight of one of the war's grisliest battles. Haha! Of course Obama can control every facet of life in a war zone in which there are no American ground troops and the U.S. role was mostly refueling British and French planes.

But perhaps the coup de grâce was their solemn disappointment in the lack of due process or proper burial for that hero of democracy, Col. Gadhafi, a man who oppressed, tortured and murdered his own people for more than forty years.

So thank you again, Alligator, and please keep articles like these coming, because no one could actually have a worldview so insanely detached from reality and so lacking in nuance or even basic common sense to actually think this way.

I hope the Lockerbie bombing victims, wherever they are, are able to watch Col. Gadhafi roast in hell.
