TRANSFORMERS
TRANSFORMERS

Big fan of the movies? Get ready to become a big role in the Autobots’ next adventure against the Decepticons. TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D will be landing at Universal Orlando Resort in Summer 2013.

Guests will work alongside Optimus Prime and the rest of the heroes before going head-to-head with Megatron in the ultimate fight to save humanity. Explosions, dangerous vortexes and breakneck chases included.

To help gear up for combat, N.E.S.T. has provided visitors classified documents, such as “How to Destroy a Deception.” Optimus Prime even relayed an important message to Earth’s inhabitants calling mankind to arms.

Construction for the ride, licensed under Hasbro, Inc., began only a few months ago. It will have one of the shortest build times in Universal history — making it one of Universal’s most ambitious projects ever, according to Universal Orlando’s press release on Nov. 2.

Michael Bay, director of the “TRANSFORMERS” film series, said in the press release that he and Universal took the ride to new technological levels. The attraction’s official website, www.prepareforbattle.com, revealed that a fusion of high-definition 3D media and flight simulation will blur fiction and reality.

TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D is already a huge success at Universal Hollywood and Universal Singapore, President Mark Woodbury of Universal Creative said. This thrilling quest will be the perfect addition to the Universal Orlando experience.
