Congrats! You’ve landed the iPhone 5. Though it was probably after months of begging your parents for Christmas, it definitely still counts.

But your case can’t be left bare bones. Your sweet, delicate piece of technology should never have to face the world unclothed. But how do you keep your iPhone stylish? A trendy case of course.

Nordstrom sells a bunch of designer cases that are adorable and colorful. One of my favorites is the Jonathan Adler “Circle Ornaments” case. But maybe that’s just because I’m a sucker for pink and orange. And if you were blessed with a Nordstrom gift card for the holidays, the store also carries Tory Burch cases. Though they are expensive, the fabulous prints and designs will distract you from the money you just dropped.

J. Crew also came out with a line of cases for the iPhone 5 and unlike Tory Burch, the cases are sold at a much more reasonable price. The case comes in five colors. My personal favorite is “modern red,” (pictured above) which creates the illusion of a preppy Monet painting and who doesn’t want a preppy Monet painting to show off on the back of their phone?

Another option for chic phone cases is to check out your options on Etsy. Few shop owners have jumped on the iPhone 5 bandwagon but some give the option of ordering a case for your iPhone 5. My favorite is the monogram case from CreateItYourWay. The navy and gold color is adorable, though I would suggest getting something a bit brighter so you don’t spend 15 minutes looking for your phone in your purse.

So, don’t leave your phone naked and make sure to only dress it in the best of covers. And unlike clothing, a phone case will always fit.
