A guide to customizing sushi at 'How Do You Roll?"

All of the buzz this past March in Gainesville was a new sushi restaurant, but not just any ordinary place; one where you could customize your own sushi rolls and bowls. People love freedom and having options, so naturally, How Do You Roll quickly grew in popularity upon opening. Although creating your own meal here can be exciting, it can also be stressful and for those indecisive eaters, it gets aggravating. If you don’t know what to order or what constitutes a delicious sushi roll, just take a look at these combinations for some inspiration:

First of all, the HDYR consists of 4 steps:

1. Choose your wrap, either seaweed or soy + pick your rice (brown or white)

2. Choose 3 vegetables/fruits, and add more for additional cost

3. Choose 1 meat/fish, and add more for additional cost

4. Endless sauces and toppings

Next, you have to decide what goes together. Here are some combinations that we have created for you to try or use as inspiration next time you eat at HDYR!
