Whether you celebrate by going to a ton of costume parties or you like to just sit around all day and gorge yourself on candy, you have to do something for Halloween because it is only the bestest holiday ever. One the best ways that you can celebrate Halloween is to turn off all the lights, get out the junk food and watch horror movies all night long. Out of all of the horror movies you can watch, here are some of the must see classics.

Scream

It changed the way the people saw horror movies in the '90s and it inspired one of the most well recognized Halloween costumes ever. It lays down all of the horror rules that everyone knows but never follows. Not much more can get you in the mood for Halloween than this classic.

Hocus Pocus

We all grew up with this movie, and if you didn’t, I sincerely feel bad for you. Who doesn’t like a little Bette Midler in their lives? A crazy person, that’s who. Witches, a talking black cat, a virgin lighting candles. Smells like Halloween to me.

The Exorcist

This movie is considered one the scariest movies of all time and is all countless lists of horror movies that make people piss their pants. With a crazed, possessed little girl spinning her head, shaking and convulsing all over the place and spewing vomit everywhere, if that does not scare you, I don't know what will.

Halloween

What better movie to watch on Halloween than Halloween itself! Jaime Lee Curtis is the world’s number one scream queen and watching her fight off one of the best movie killers ever, while all of her friends are mutilated and killed is the only real way to get Halloween rolling.

So get out your PJs and you popcorn cuz you got yourself it looks like you got yourself a movie night.
