National Signing Day has been here for only a few hours, and UF already has its first big flip.

Four-star dual-threat quarterback Treon Harris, who was verbally committed to Florida State, announced Wednesday morning that he would be sending his letter of intent to Florida.

Three star-wide receiver C.J. Worton also announced he would send his LOI to Florida on Wednesday morning.

Harris seemed solid on his FSU verbal commitment, but after receiving offers from Florida and Auburn last month, the commitment didn’t look as strong. Harris was committed to the Seminoles since July 8, 2013.

Harris took official visits in the last three weeks to Florida, Auburn and visited Miami last weekend. Harris is the No. 3 quarterback in the country, according to Rivals.com.

CBS Sports Recruiting Analyst Tom Lemming said in an interview Tuesday that Harris in a spread offense reminds him of NFL quarterbacks Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick.

Harris would have built solid depth behind Jameis Winston at FSU, as Winston’s former backup Jacob Coker transferred to Alabama last month. During his senior season at Booker T. Washington, Harris threw for more than 2,000 yards and averaged 17 yards per throw. He will provide another unique option at quarterback behind Jeff Driskel, along with early enrollee Will Grier.

Worton was previously committed to FSU, but decommitted last week — just two days after he officially visited UF. Worton will help build depth at wide receiver for Florida, a position that is in dire need of playmakers. Worton picked Florida over West Virginia.

More Florida verbal commits faxed in their letters of intent this morning. Tight end C'yontai Lewis, athlete Deiondre Porter, offensive lineman David Sharpe and wide receiver Moral Stephens sent their letters Wednesday morning during the 9 o'clock hour.
