Here’s the best way to deal with finals: Procrastinate by watching (or re-watching) six seasons of "Gossip Girl," and drink away your stress.

The characters in "Gossip Girl," which ended in 2012 and can be found on Netflix, will make you forget your finals-week woes. A "B" in bio is no match for a group of Upper-East-Side teens’ dramatic fights, friendship fallouts and drug addictions.

The show starts by following a group of wealthy private-school friends who obsessively check a gossip site where an anonymous blogger, called "Gossip Girl," spills their juiciest secrets. While the friends struggle to deal with eating disorders, cocaine use and applying to Ivy League colleges, a middle-class student, Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), falls for one of the most popular (and richest) girls at school, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively).

Dan serves as a contrast to the lavish lifestyle of the popular students, who he calls immoral, corrupt and conniving. What makes "Gossip Girl" great, though, is that viewers will indoubtably love every main character, even after they hire prostitutes and commit someone to a mental institution.

Serena’s best friend/frenemy, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), is a prime example: She calls herself a queen bitch because she is one. But she also deeply loves the suave Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), and she is there for Serena when no one else is.

"Gossip Girl" will make you want to move to New York to become a socialite. There’s no better way to escape crying about your semester GPA.

  • when Serena flips her hair
  • when Blair rolls her eyes or sighs condescendingly
  • every time Little J annoys you
  • when someone calls Dan "Lonely Boy"
  • when you want to hug Dorota or Cyrus (literally always)
  • when Chuck says, "I’m Chuck Bass," and you’re like "OK, beautiful"
  • every time one of Serena’s ex-boyfriends is introduced
  • when Blair executes a scheme (even when it all goes to hell in a handbasket)
  • when you decide to dig out your middle school headband because Blair... ‘nuff said
  • when Nate dates someone twice his age
  • when you’re surprised at how many drugs Upper East siders use
  • when you start to like Chuck Bass
  • when Nate smiles like a freaking angel
  • when you question the morality of S and D’s relationship
