A Gainesville woman was arrested early Sunday morning after police said she hid crack in her belly button and a crack pipe in her crotch.

At about 8:30 a.m., police watched Andrea Rodricka Mitchell, 29, enter a known drug house with two friends, according to a police report.

The group of women then left the house and started to dance in the middle of Northeast 15th Street, according to the report.

Police stopped the women for a pedestrian violation and asked Mitchell for consent to search her purse, according to the report.

She then dumped everything from her bag, including a small piece of crack cocaine, onto the ground, according to the report.

Mitchell told police she had more crack and a pipe hidden elsewhere, according to the report.

Police said they found a small crack pipe in Mitchell’s crotch and a small amount of crack in her belly button, according to the report.

In total, police found about a half gram of crack, according to the report.

“I just wanted to get high,” Mitchell said, according to the report.

Police arrested Mitchell on charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities took her to the Alachua County Jail where she was released Monday morning on her own recognizance.
