Eazybaked, an experimental, bass-heavy producer duo from Clermont, Florida, is set to perform yet another show in Gainesville this week.

The group, made up of members Eric Ray and Andrew Principe, have brought their unique sound to Gainesville five times before, all through the booking of Over Easy Creative, an event planning company based in Gainesville. Friday’s show will contribute to Hard Boiled, Over Easy’s monthly event that celebrates heavier sound.

The show will be held Friday from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Realm nightclub, located at 233 W. University Ave. Cover for the event will be $5 before 11 p.m. and reduced until 12 a.m. for those who post their names on the event’s Facebook page before 8 p.m. Friday, found at, and may hit $10 later in the night based on capacity. Over Easy residents Les Voss and Illegal Maneuver will be opening the show with a back-to-back set, as well as a solo performance by Kole Friese.

The Hard Boiled event came to be in summer 2016 after the Over Easy team decided to host more bass-heavy acts, Les Voss, owner of Over Easy Creative and resident DJ, wrote in an email.

“We wanted to build a concept for a heavier styled party that was more than just the big room bass sounds that seem to be so prevalent and focus on more forward thinking artists and styles,” Voss said.

Eazybaked’s music is unusual, incorporating warbling bass, abrasive elements and more to create an exploratory signature sound. Voss said this style was a perfect fit for Hard Boiled.

“[Eric and Andrew] built a very loyal Gainesville following the past few years by being genuine to their sound and ideals and refusing to take what many would consider the easier, more mainstream path,” Voss said.
