The Florida men’s golf team will travel to Cle Elum, Washington, for the NCAA Regionals, the NCAA announced Wednesday

The Gators attempt to bounce back after a disappointing performance at the SEC Tournament where they tied for ninth.

With the bid, UF kept its streak of being invited to compete in the NCAA Regionals intact. Since the NCAA Regional Championship was introduced in 1998, Florida secured a bid 31 of 32 times.

Florida’s most recent success in the regional competition came in 2018. The Gators won the regional title that year down the road in Kissimmee, Florida.

The Washington regional is one of six taking place across the country, serving as a play in for the NCAA Championship. The five lowest scoring teams and the lowest scoring individual not from those five schools will advance to the championship.

The Gators face tough competition in their region. Including 17th-ranked Florida, the tournament features five schools inside Golfstat’s top-25 rankings, including No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 7 Pepperdine, No. 20 Arizona and No. 25 San Francisco.

Here is the full list of teams competing in Washington with their regional ranking:

No. 1 Wake Forest

No. 2 Pepperdine

No. 3 Florida

No. 4 Arizona

No. 5 San Francisco
