Gainesville woman arrested for child pornography

Quincie Grube claimed she obtained the video of child sexual abuse for a friend

Gainesville Police Department arrested a woman Thursday after receiving a tip of a child sexual abuse video shared via Facebook Messenger.

Quincie Grube, 24, faces charges for distributing and soliciting child exploitation videos. She is being held at the Alachua County Jail with no bond set as of Friday.

Grube admitted the Facebook account was hers but denied being sexually attracted to minors, according to the statement. Grube told police she is a “people pleaser” and was doing a favor for a friend in obtaining the video.

GPD warns parents of the potential dangers to children posed by social media platforms like Facebook, KiK, Snapchat, TikTok and Tagged used to solicit and distribute videos of child sexual abuse.
