Florida junior wide receiver Xzavier Henderson plans to enter the transfer portal, according to reports from Swamp247.

Henderson became a regular contributor for the Gators through his three year career in Gainesville. The Miami product caught 73 passes for 835 yards and five touchdowns for UF. Henderson also played as a returner for the Gators and has a career-long punt return of 48 yards.

The former No. 68 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings never broke out with Florida. Henderson caught a career-high 38 passes and tallied a career-high 410 yards, but he didn’t become a star contributor for the Gators’ offense.

The Gators have now lost three players to the transfer portal this Spring. Redshirt freshman offensive lineman David Conner left the program April 10, and junior edge rusher Antwuan Powell-Ryland Jr. announced on Twitter Friday he will enter the transfer portal.

Florida has a bevy of young receivers ready to step up in Henderson’s absence. Freshmen Andy Jean and Eugene Wilson come to Gainesville with blue-chip pedigree, and sophomore Caleb Douglas showed flashes in his freshman season.
