Florida guard KK Deans to enter Transfer Portal

Topher Adams is a third-year journalism major and one of the assistant sports editors for the Spring 2023 semester. He also covered Florida football lacrosse for the paper and loves to follow MLS soccer and professional lacrosse.

The No. 3 Florida Gators (22-4, 5-1 SEC) swept the No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels (15-9, 0-6 SEC) in a three-game series. UF started the Southeastern Conference season with a series win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The No. 3 Florida Gators (19-4, 2-1 SEC) defeated the Florida State Seminoles (12-9, 3-3 ACC) 9-5 Tuesday night in Tallahassee, Florida. Sophomore lefty reliever Philip Abner earned the win. He allowed no runs on two hits and struck out six batters in 2 1/3 innings of action.
The Florida Gators (17-14) defeated the Wofford Terriers (22-10) 66-63 at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
The Florida Gators (11-3) defeated the Florida Atlantic Owls (7-5) 18-11 Tuesday night at Condron Ballpark in Florida’s highest-scoring game of the season. The teams combined for 29 runs on 25 hits.
The No. 6 Florida Gators (9-2) defeated the No. 22 Miami Hurricanes (7-3) 10-4 Friday night at Condron Ballpark in front of 8,081 fans — the second most ever at Condron Ballpark. UF rattled off 14 hits and four homers in the big victory.
The No. 6 Florida Gators (8-2) will face the No. 22 Miami Hurricanes (7-2) this weekend in the first major series of the season. This is Florida’s first ranked matchup of the year.
The No. 6 Florida Gators (8-2) fell to the Jacksonville Dolphins (6-4) 10-8 Wednesday night at Condron Ballpark. Eight different pitchers took the mound for Florida and allowed a combined eight hits and walked 11 batters.
