Gators graduate student Trinity Thomas suffered an injury during the National Collegiate Athletic Association Pittsburgh Regionals.

She left the meet halfway through her floor routine. Florida gymnastics confirmed Thomas has a lower right-leg injury and is now going day-by-day.

Thomas has achieved a record amount of 10s this season. She was named SEC Gymnast of the Year March 22.

The Gators witnessed freshman Kayla DiCello step up to help lead the Gators to another victory in Thomas’ absence.

The Gators (12-1, 6-1 SEC) will likely be without Thomas going forward to the third round on Sunday.
