The defending SEC and national champions got their first look into their home and away SEC opponents for the 2025-26 season.
The Gators will take on Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, and Tennessee once at home this year. With the exception of one loss against Tennessee, Florida came out on top against each opponent on the road last season.
The Gators knocked out both Alabama and Tennessee to clinch the 2025 SEC Championship and defeated Auburn in the Final Four to advance to the National Championship.
Florida will play Kentucky, South Carolina and Georgia, both home and away next season. UF will face former Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen, who spent three years with the Gators, twice against the Wildcats.
Florida saw the Bulldogs twice last season and went split the series at a game apiece. Florida’s loss to Georgia Feb. 25 marked UGA head coach Mike White’s first win against his former program in seven matchups.
To round out Florida’s conference schedule, the Gators will face Ole Miss, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt on the road. From the list, only Missouri defeated the Gators at home last season. Florida came back, knocking the Tigers out in the first round of the SEC tournament at a neutral site.
In addition to their conference schedule, the Gators also recently announced a slew of difficult non-conference matchups.
“A lot of people talked about us not having it strong enough out of conference last year.” head coach Todd Golden said. “That won't be [the case] this year.”
Florida will open its season and face the Arizona Wildcats Nov. 3. The next month, the Gators will play Connecticut in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden —a rematch of the NCAA Tournament game that earned the Gators their spot in the Sweet 16.
Florida will also take on Duke in the SEC-ACC challenge at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
“All three of those games are going to be incredibly difficult,” Golden said. “Last year, we went 13-0 in non-conference. I'm not sure we'll be able to do that this year. But we can still have a really, really successful non-conference because of the level of opponents that we have.” .
The Gators maintained a 14-4 SEC record and a 15-1 record at home and 7-3 record away during the 2024-25 season.
