Country music star Morgan Wallen is set to perform two nights at The Swamp next year.
Wallen’s “Still the Problem” tour will stop at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on May 15 and May 16. Presale tickets go live on Ticketmaster next week.
Up-and-coming artists Gavin Adcock and Zach John King are opening for Wallen on both nights. As main openers, Thomas Rhett will perform on Friday night and Ella Langley on Saturday.
The last concert in The Swamp was country music legend Garth Brooks in 2019. It was the stadium’s first large-scale performance in 25 years since The Rolling Stones in 1994.
Announcing the show, the official Florida Gators account posted a promotional video with cuts of the UF cheerleaders and Dazzlers and highlights from Wallen’s previous concerts across platforms.
The Instagram post garnered almost 6,000 likes an hour after it was published.
At the release of his new album, “I’m the Problem” this year, Wallen toured across the U.S. with artists like Miranda Lambert, Corey Kent and Brooks & Dunn.
Wallen’s music has reached people worldwide with over 3.1 billion streams on Spotify. His previous tour drew sold-out crowds to venues like Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and Lumen Field in Seattle.
Other college football stadium tour stops include Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor and Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
Fans can sign up to get notified on Ticketmaster when the presale goes live Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.
Buyers will receive their presale code by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 4.
General sale will begin on Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.
