This week, students get to vote on UF’s Student Body President, vice president, treasurer and senators from all 50 of UF’s colleges. Similar to Fall 2025 elections, Vision is the only party running.
Students can vote Feb. 24 and 25 during polling hours — 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. — at eight polling locations on campus. Students must check in with poll workers using a valid ID, log into the platform with their GatorLink and confirm they have the correct ballot.

Matthew Bravo, Vision’s candidate for Student Body President, is running on a campaign of health and sustainability.
As a cancer survivor, one of Bravo’s main goals is to create a bone marrow/stem cell registry event every semester.
Bravo also wishes to create an accessibility task force with UF’s Disability Resource Center, an initiative to translate SG resources and events into the most commonly spoken languages on campus, expanding educational programming on medical amnesty and creating a campus safety reporting form.
Bravo was previously the Senate President Pro-Tempore, the second in command behind senate president Maya Idiculla.
The Vision candidate for vice president is Donovan Francois. His platform focuses on many different aspects of student life at UF.
Francois is campaigning for self-defense and public safety workshops with UPD, advocating for Florida grown produce to be served in dining halls, increasing collaboration between the cabinet and student organizations, strengthening the first-generation affairs cabinet and facilitating volunteer services between the cabinet and Gainesville organizations.
The Vision candidate running for treasurer is Marco Salvador.
Salvador’s platform includes SAR/TAR education and support program, a facility adviser access directory, an inter-organization resource exchange program, a new program aimed at helping new student organizations navigate SG funding and a student body treasurer annual report.
