Build a Band Plaza of the Americas 5:00 PM Free Swamp Records and RockGNV are back with their second build a band event, open to not solely UF students. Musicians can bring their instruments and RVSP for the event.
Aly & AJ with Hayden Blount Heartwood Soundstage 7:00 PM $35-42 The indie pop rock sister duo plays on its "Places to Run Tour" and is joined by country folk artist Hayden Blount.
DJ Zion Orpheus Baby J's Bar 10:00 PM Free The local DJ spins hip hop, jazz, neo soul and more.

Wake & Bake Pre-Game Party Loosey's 7:00 PM $20 Less Than Jake's Roger Lima's band Rehasher play with You Vandal at the pregame event for the annual Wake & Bake weekend.
Jaim and Dumpster Message @unlitteruf or @thriftclubuf on Instagram for the address. 7:00 PM $5 The UF Thrift Club and Unlitter host a "Backyard Bash" with local indie bands, and more artists can sign up to perform at this link.

Less Than Jake Wake & Bake Festival Vivid Music Hall 6:00 PM $45 The first day of Gainesville ska punk band Less Than Jake's annual festival hosts Voodoo Glow Skulls, Teenage Bottlerocket and Bite Me Bambi.
Gainesville Guitar Festival Heartwood Soundstage 7:00 PM $35 to $42 The first day of the third annual festival includes performances by Kaki King and Christopher Stelling.
Scuttered the Bruce, The Midnight Rovers and Joebriety The Bull 8:00 PM $10 The Bull hosts an evening of Celtic folk punk Americana music.
You Swine, Piss Test and Rex Dameron Loosey's 8:00 PM $10 Loosey's hosts local punk artists.
Patti Markoch Ensemble Baby J's Bar 8:00 PM $10 The group, fronted by jazz singer Patti Markoch, plays at Baby J's Bar.
Jay Tyler, Issue of Destiny and Rooster Kick The Sl8 Gallery 9:00 PM $10 The "Feeling Blue at The Sl8" event hosts country rock artist Jay Tyler with grunge metal band Issue of Destiny and Rooster Kick. The show is followed by a screening of David Lynch's "Blue Velvet."

Less Than Jake and Joker's Republic First Magnitude Brewing Co. 12:00 PM $10 “An Afternoon With Less Than Jake” raises money for Grace Marketplace and Bread of the Mighty.
Gainesville Guitar Festival Heartwood Soundstage 2:00 PM $35 to $42 The second day of the festival includes performances by Mike Baggetta and the Ed White Trio and features a gear swap, workshops, an open guitar jam and more.
Less Than Jake Wake & Bake Festival Vivid Music Hall 5:00 PM $45 The second day of Less Than Jake's annual festival welcomes back Voodoo Glow Skulls and Teenage Bottlerocket and hosts Joker's Republic and The Boy Detective.
Shehehe, Wolves & Wolves & Wolves & Wolves and Chimes Geeks 7:00 PM Free Punk bands from Georgia, North Carolina and Gainesville respectively play the free all ages show.
Ritmo Caribe The How Bazar 9:00 PM $10 DJs Callipygian, 00Jordie and Offki play at the Caribbean rhythm Latin night.
