On Monday, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein announced Florida’s home and away Southeastern Conference opponents for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

The announcement comes after Florida revealed numerous non-conference matchups, including a season opener against Miami in Tampa on Nov. 2 and an ACC/SEC challenge contest at home against Duke on Dec. 1.

Prior to the announcement, Florida was already scheduled to play South Carolina and Georgia twice this season, as the two are permanent opponents. Per Rothstein, Florida will also face Texas in Austin and Gainesville, marking the first time the two will meet twice a season in their history.

In Rothstein’s post on X, he said the meeting between the two is a “terrific scheduling development for college basketball,” as the Longhorns have one of the strongest teams in the conference heading into the campaign.

Florida’s road slate, in addition to meetings against Texas, South Carolina and Georgia, includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee. The Gators last beat the Volunteers in Knoxville on Feb. 11, 2014, losing eight straight, including a 64-44 thrashing during the 2024-25 season that ended in a national championship for UF.

A return to Auburn will be the first for the Gators since they defeated the then-No. 1 Tigers 90-81, serving as a milestone during Florida’s 2024-25 season.

Back in Gainesville, Florida will host Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, in addition to South Carolina, Georgia and Texas.

Missouri last visited the O’Connell Center during the 2024-25 season, handing UF its sole home defeat that season in an 83-82 nail-biter. The Tigers also beat the Gators to start conference play last season, prevailing 76-74 in Columbia on Jan. 3.

With the 2026-27 season schedule coming together, Florida is expected to be a preseason No. 1 following the return of rising seniors Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon and Rueben Chinyelu.
