













South Carolina took down #16 Florida, Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, in Gainesville, Fla., marking their first conference win. The Gators only saw the end zone twice, with two touchdowns and one field goal.
Michael is a Fall 2026 photographer with The Alligator. He is a senior journalism major and it is his fourth semester on staff. He strives to cover the Gainesville community and contribute to various news and editorial publications. In his free time he enjoys running, listening to music and attempting to perfect the same couple recipes time and time again.

Bayden is a MPMT junior at UF and serving as one of the Fall 2026 Multimedia Editors. This is her third semester on staff, and her favorite sport to cover is gymnastics. In her spare time she can be found watching movies or working at Humble Wood Fire.
Byron Donalds holds town hall at UF
Oct. 1Representative and gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds held a town hall style meeting Wednesday as a part of his Defending the Florida Dream Tour. The event featured representative Kat Cammack and 135 audience members. The entire event was live streamed on Donalds's campaign website as audience members asked questions of the republican candidate.
ESPN's SEC Nation visits Gainesville
Sep. 27ESPN's SEC Nation pre-game show came to Gainesville on Saturday as the Gators hosted No. 4 Ole Miss in The Swamp. It is the first time the show has come to Gainesville this season following one visit last year when Florida hosted and beat No. 9 Texas, 29-21.
