Laura Palomino, a 20-year-old UF marine science junior, catches kisses from her dog Kaiser, a 9-year-old German shepherd, on the Plaza of the Americas on Nov. 18, 2015. Palomino rescued Kaiser from a shelter in Miami six years ago, and he never walks more than a foot away from her. Whenever she doesn’t have classes, Palomino takes Kaiser to the Plaza to people watch and eat Krishna food.
