Megan Hammerling, a 21-year-old UF criminology and anthropology senior, shakes the paw of her rescue puppy Hershey on Turlington Plaza on Nov. 18, 2015. The 7-month-old hound mix was found on the side of the road at 8 weeks old. Now, Hammerling said she is training Hershey to become a therapy dog.
