Xuan Ooi (center) and Yvonne Yeung (left), both 18-year-old UF engineering freshmen, perform a traditional Chinese lion dance outside of Turlington Hall on Monday. Ooi is an exploratory engineering major. Yeung is an industrial engineering major. Jia-Uei Chen, 18, also a UF computer science freshman, pounds the beat of the dance on a drum. The group was a part of the Chinese American Student Association (CASA).

Correction: The majors for the students were previously incorrectly stated as English instead of engineering. It was also described incorrectly as a dragon dance when it is a lion dance.
