Scout places painting healing stone labeled "brave" at the UF Health Children's Healing Garden

Olivia Foli, 16, an eagle scout who in 2019 helped start Scouts BSA Troop 21, Gainesville’s first female troop, places a painted healing stone labeled “brave” at the UF Health Children's Healing Garden on Friday. As part of Foli’s eagle scout project, she dropped off 676 rocks for patients to scavenge and take back with them.

Lauren is a third year photojournalism student pursuing a minor in Spanish. She has shot photos for Fresh Take Florida and the Gainesville Sun. Lauren likes roller skating in her free time.
