Aneesa Bahman, a 21-year-old UF animal science senior, Ikrom Alajoulin, a 20-year-old sociology criminology junior, Reeman Alnajar, a 19-year-old USF pre-nursing sophomore, and Zaina Khader, a 22-year-old USF biomed sophomore take a selfie in front of Palestinian flags at the first Arab Students' Association Charity Gala event at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday evening. "I think this is a good way to meet new people and explore different cultures," Khadar said, "It's also a great way to educate yourself on the situation that happens in Palestine and how we can help those in need."
