Brad Noblitt, director of production and creative services in the UF College of Journalism and Communications, looks on as Utility Service of Gainesville Inc. workers zip-tie a 144-count fiber-optic cable on Thursday afternoon. The cable will transmit HD video and audio directly from University Athletic Association venues to Weimer Hall as part of a partnership between WUFT-TV and UAA.
