Sidney Lanier Fitness Program participants toss balls to each other Tuesday at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during their last workout session of the semester. The program will host a banquet Thursday in the Martial Arts Room of the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

Shelter dogs wait for potential adopters in kennels at Alachua County Animal Resources on March 31, 2026.

In his whistleblower email, Anthony Friedell included a screenshot of the euthanasia record of Alachua County Animal Resources shelter dog Kane. The authorization date and euthanasia date marked by Gina Peebles were recorded within a minute of each other.
