UF student Ashley Cavallo (back left), 19, holds a candle to honor the lives lost in the Oct. 27 mass shooting at the Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cavallo, a UF biology sophomore with a minor in Jewish history, said, "We will survive, we will continue on and we won't let terror stop us from...doing what we need to do." The vigil was organized Monday by the Lubavitch Chabad Jewish Center, UF Hillel, the Jewish Student Union and was held at Turlington Plaza. Read the story here.
