University Police arrested an Atlanta man during Saturday’s football game after police said he had cocaine and a fake driver’s license.
At about 7:25 p.m. Saturday, Jameson F. Logan, 18, walked through Gate 14 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with a bulge in the right pocket of his cargo pants, according to a police report.
An officer searched Logan, found vodka in a Ziploc bag and took him to the booking room. When asked for identification, Logan gave the officer a credit card and a Gator 1 Card, which displayed different names, according to the report.
The officer then searched Logan’s wallet and found about 1 gram of cocaine and a fake South Carolina driver’s license, according to the report.
Police arrested Logan on charges for possession of cocaine and fraud. Authorities took him to Alachua County Jail, where he was released Sunday afternoon on his own recognizance.
Logan is one of three people UPD arrested during the football game. UPD also ejected 170 people, including 36 UF students.
He could not be reached for comment as of press time.
Sixty-five ejections were the result of disorderly conduct followed by 44 for switching tickets, 19 for alcohol possession, 17 for not having a ticket, 13 for intoxication, five for sitting in the wrong section, five for standing on a seat, one for smoking and one for trespassing.
