Gainesville Police are looking for two men who were spotted publicly masturbating on separate occasions Sunday night.
Two women were walking from their car in the parking lot of Stratford Court Apartments, 604 SW 10th St., when they saw a man sitting on an electrical box with no pants on. He was masturbating.
Police said the women ran upstairs to their apartment and saw the man's shiny, light gray basketball shorts laying on the steps.
By the time police arrived, both the man and his basketball shorts were gone. An Alachua County Sheriff's Office K-9 search of the area was unsuccessful, according to the police report.
The women told police the suspect was a thin, light-skinned man with short, dark hair. He was wearing a gray-striped shirt.
They also told police they had seen the man two other times hanging around the apartment complex.
About an hour later, police responded to another call from the Walgreens on Archer Road where a man was masturbating in his car.
This man also left before police arrived on the scene, said GPD Lt. Jorge Campos.
Campos said the two men had similar descriptions, but police do not believe they were the same person.
