Before UF beat the University of Kentucky on Saturday, hundreds of people were already celebrating at the Greater Gator Beer Festival Part Two.
Attendees braved the hot sun to sample roughly 100 beers from all over the world.
Chuck Fazio, coordinator of the festival, said this was the first time in 11 years he had held the event during the fall.
He said he normally runs the event during the spring, but he received so many requests for another beer festival that he decided to add on a "part two."
Dave Tarasi, a 22-year-old UF finance major, said he ended up working for the event and getting free admission because he showed up 30 minutes before the festival started.
"I know a lot about beer so I was fine doing it," he said.
Tarasi's job was to hand out beers like Anchor Steam, Purple Haze and a crowd favorite called Flying Dog.
Chris Kennedy, a UF aerospace engineering junior, said Flying Dog was such a heavy beer that it stained his cup.
Kennedy said he lost track of how many beers he had tried.
All of the tables with beer had plastic jack-o'-lanterns filled with discarded beer.
Tarasi said they were used for people who wanted to clean their cups or pour out what they hadn't drank.
"That's how you can tell who is here to get hammered and who wants to taste the beer," he said.
