Education needs comprehensive overhaul

While discussing affirmative action in class recently, a fellow student said the reason we need policies that give minorities preference in admissions to the best institutions of higher learning is because of educational inequality in primary and secondary schools.

Embree lone Gator to move on to finals

Although a Gator played in each of the quarterfinal games Sunday at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships, only junior Lauren Embree will make a trip to the finals Monday after back-to-back wins in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
