Cuffing season is not for everyone, especially me

It’s like clockwork. Every year around this time, the pumpkin spice lattes come out, Hallmark movies start to play on television and the temperature in this majestic city drops into the high-sixties. And just as I start to put on my light jacket to protect me from the less-than-sweltering temperatures, my phone starts vibrating uncontrollably. I roll my eyes as I see text after text from guy after guy professing their love for me. They all want to be exclusive. Don’t get me wrong — it’s flattering. But more so, it’s exhausting.

School of Theatre and Dance to perform 'Kiss Me, Kate'

UF student dies falling off apartment balcony

A UF student died Saturday after falling from the third floor of 13th Street Apartments, Gainesville Police said.

UF coach Jim McElwain said Wednesday that Florida coaches are receiving death threats because of the team's performance. “In this business, we're the ones they take the shots at and that's the way it is,” McElwain said.

Bicycle-kick save helps UF soccer team stave off Volunteers in Knoxville

Redshirt sophomore midfielder Parker Roberts, starting her third consecutive game on the back line, watched as Tennessee’s Danielle Marcano received a headed pass into the box. Goalie Kaylan Marckese charged toward the Volunteer forward but couldn’t get to the ball before Marcano got a foot to it to chip it over her.

Gators receiver Kadarius Toney (17) hasn't played since Florida's 17-16 loss to LSU on Oct. 7. Toney, a freshman, suffered a separated shoulder and was "very limited" in practice last week, UF coach Jim McElwain said.
