McElwain provides no clarity on quarterback competition

Malik Zaire worked with Florida’s first-team offense during the team’s open portion of practice on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Luke Del Rio did. And on the day before that, who knows? Because while there was no way to check since practice was closed, it doesn’t seem to matter to coach Jim McElwain who’s taking the first-team reps.

We need to start shopping with a purpose

Welcome back to the swamp, Gators! I hope everyone has been having a fabulous summer, after all, I already know all the Florida residents have been having a warm one. Writing can give you the power to be anything and do anything

On Aug. 7 my little brother and I had to trek across London from one airport to another, accompanied by two large suitcases, phones that did not work outside of the country and the exhaustion of a day of traveling. Due to general miscommunication, we were separated from the rest of our family, whose flights were out of Heathrow Airport the next day. Ours was out of Gatwick Airport (which has no direct Tube line, mind you).

Open your mind to a unified America

President Donald Trump’s address Monday evening was alarming and infuriating to many Americans for a number of reasons. Somewhere in between the incoherent babbling and deplorable attempts at defending himself and his actions, the president announced that not only does he plan on keeping troops in Afghanistan, but he wants to send more.

Trump’s Monday address needs to be seen in a more positive light

On Monday, President Donald Trump spoke in front of hundreds of U.S. servicemen and women in Virginia to update the country on the state of the Afghanistan War, as well as flesh out his administration’s strategy for the future. Throughout his campaign, Trump proclaimed that he would swiftly bring the war to an end and bring home the thousands of soldiers currently stationed in the war-torn country. However, several months into his tumultuous presidency, Trump’s stance has pivoted. In his speech, the president laid out a new strategy that will result in more troops and resources being used in the war.
