The Gators had already clinched the match. A crowd of over 350 fans had dwindled down to just a handful. In its home opener against UCF on Monday night, Florida was just about ready to return to the locker room victorious. But junior McClain Kessler was still battling for a third-set win on the No. 6 singles court.

UF’s Bitcoin club attended The North American Bitcoin Conference on Thursday and Friday in South Florida. Some of the memebers later participated in a hackathon, where they won fourth place and .05 bitcoin or about $532.64.

Four inmates of a Union County prison were taken to UF Health Shands Hospital after a piece of a bathroom ceiling fell on five inmates Tuesday, Florida Department of Corrections said.

Sophia Ahmed, a UF materials science and engineering sophomore, stands near the rock sculpture on Turlington Plaza applying washable red dye on her pants. Ahmed, 20, is an organizer for “Are You Seeing Red?,” and said the point is to raise awareness about the lack of free menstrual products on campus.
