National Signing Day is here and recruits are now able to sign their national letter of intent and formally commit to their college of choice. Here are 10 players to watch out for as Jim McElwain attempts to round out his first recruiting class as Florida’s head coach. All information regarding rankings comes from Rivals.com.

Four-star running back Jordan Scarlett commits to UF

Four-star running back Jordan Scarlett (5-foot-11, 205 pounds, Fort Lauderdale Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas High) announced that he was verbally committed to Florida on Monday evening. Scarlett decommitted from the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday. He was previously committed to the Canes since July.

Four-star Georgia linebacker chooses Gators

Florida’s 2015 recruiting class picked up its 10th verbal commitment as four-star linebacker Adonis Thomas (6-foot-3, 219 pounds, Lawrenceville, Ga., Central Gwinnett High) announced his commitment to UF. Thomas, the No. 16 ranked outside linebacker in the country, chose Florida over Alabama. He had offers from Georgia, LSU and Notre Dame as well.

Notebook: McCloud chooses Clemson, Lewis decommits

Ray-Ray McCloud III announced his verbal commitment to Clemson on Monday evening. The commitment came as somewhat of a surprise as McCloud was in attendance at UF’s Friday Night Lights camp. The feeling was that McCloud would go with Florida with Gainesville fresh on his mind.

Defensive back recruit flips commitment from Miami to UF

Florida flipped a 2016 recruit from in-state rival Miami over the weekend. 2016 defensive back Chauncey “CJ” Gardner (5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Cocoa Beach, Fla., Cocoa High) switched his commitment to UF on Saturday afternoon. Gardner attended Saturday’s session of Will Muschamp’s football camp and was offered a scholarship by coaches while he was still on campus.
