The championship taper has come again as Florida has a grand opportunity at redeeming itself on why it deserves to be No. 1.

As the season ended for Florida in a devastating 12-11 loss against then-No.5 seed Northwestern (14-7) on May 17, the Gators are already working toward boosting their roster for 2015.
So you probably think Florida’s NCAA baseball regional is a bit difficult for a two-seed, and if that’s the case, you’re most certainly right.

No. 5 seed Florida outscored its opponents 29-0 in the regional round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
Although it wasn’t the team finish UF might have wanted, Elcin Ulu did her part and also made her last round of collegiate golf a memorable one.
Mississippi State (37-22) entered its Southeastern Conference Tournament fourth-round tilt against No. 1 seed Florida (39-20) with a .981 fielding average, good for seventh in all of Division 1. In the 5-1 loss, the Bulldogs looked anything but stout defensively team behind its pitchers.
The last two Florida players competing at the NCAA Doubles championships were eliminated Friday afternoon.
After the first day of NCAA singles competition, two of the three Florida players were eliminated.
UF played with its back against the wall on Thursday.
During a midgame interview with ESPN, coach Kevin O’Sullivan credited UF’s success late in the regular season to its ability to hit in the clutch.
6-1-1, 6-0-2, 6-2-0. They’re not area codes found in your local phone book, they’re different number combinations to get to the magic number the Southeastern Conference has finally settled on as it pertains to league football games: eight.
